Just curious, not boasting off. If you looked at this post AnnaNagar West Traffic Signal Light . The green signal on the other side has been removed, And prominence for the signboard “No lorry traffic”

Would love to have visitors from the chennai traffic office.

Few Laws and rules forgotten by our Chennai City Police

1. Smoking in public places
2. Vehicles Pollution check

And of course they cause  personal injury or to personal belongings. So why should Chennai Police care?

Chennai City – Lorry Traffic timings

Does any one have Info on Lorry Traffic, City entering timings?
I took the above photos yesterday evening at 6 PM on the opposite site of Koyambedu towards Thirumangalam road. I have noticing these days that there lot of heavy vehicles traffic from 6PM to 8:30 PM (well that was the timing I usually pass through these roads and have traveled once in the night at 1PM where there was hardly lorry traffic)

I guess chennai traffic police is liberal to lorry traffic. I remember days where there would be sign boards mentioning the entry timing for the Lorry traffic. Don’t know what happened to those.

This is a usual scene, heavy traffic at velachery at 8:45 AM near the bypass. On Wednesday it is worst. Most of Wednesday you will not get a chance to take the bypass road.

Sangam Cinemas a catch up

Recently had been to Sangam cinemas to watch a Malayalam movie “Inspector Garud” featuring Dilip, Kavya Madhavan. Quiet an entertainment with lots of jokes, but the end just sucks, The director and story writer was in a hurry I guess, they just ended the story abruptly. This the second movie of Dilip which has a bad story ending (I guess it was vitam).

Now to the Sangam Cinemas, It has been months and I see positive move from Sangam cinemas, Car parking ticket collector was wearing Sangam cinemas t-shirt and the theater halls were maintained good. As we were watching movies, My son just jumped up from seat screaming, There was something which kept moving under our seats for some time, and we were worried, thinking whether it would be a rat. But to our surprise it was a kitty

I believe it was intentional to have a cat keep away the mouse. I guess cats are better than mouse.

Sangam Cinemas a catch up for Satyam and Inox. Good that competitor is brewing.
